Hærvegen's walking and cycling routes in North Jutland takes you past several cultural and historical sites and is full of scenic experiences.
In Mariagerfjord Municipality, the Hærvejens cycle route runs from Klejtrup Sø to the north, through Lindum Forest and past the Viking Museum Fyrkat at Hobro, where the route meets Route 32 - Mariager Fjord Route. From here, the route continues through Døstrup, Rold and Arden to Store Økssø in Rold Skov.
Along the way, there is free opportunity to take a detour from Hærvejen's route and see more attractions, historical sights and even more scenic experiences. For example, take a hike on The PANORAMA route - Denmark's first certified hiking route. The 10 km walking route takes you from Hobro Yacht Harbor to Bramslev Bakker and return, where along the way you walk along Denmark's Most Beautiful Fjord - Mariager Fjord.
Experience Hærvejen's routes either by bike or on foot. The routes alternate between asphalt roads, gravel and forest roads - and there may be slightly hilly terrain.
