The fishing ground at Sildehagen

Enjoy a relaxing day at Sildehagen fishing ground near Hobro, where there is plenty of opportunity to catch something on the hook.

The herring farm is located immediately east of Hobro and the marina. There is good and varying bottom vegetation, which makes the conditions ideal for smolt and dogfish. In their wake, the trout follow – and after them the anglers. The herring pond is a good place, especially in the cold weather. There are large banks of blue mussels, which always attract chasing fish. In addition, there are a number of underwater springs, which is why watering must be done with caution. The transition from firm to soft mud can be quite abrupt. There are good access conditions from the car park at the marina.
