DOG FOREST

Please note that many of the dog parks are a bit remote from the parking conditions and here it is important that you keep the dogs on a leash until you reach the fenced dog parks - unless otherwise indicated.

There are rubbish bins at most dog parks, but for those where there are none, please take your rubbish home or to the nearest rubbish bin.

Below we have listed the dog forests that are in the area. We hope that you will enjoy the dog forests and that your dogs will burn off some powder in the beautiful nature!

Fenced dog forest of 7 ha. located southeast of Nørager, on the road towards Hobro. There is a playground and fire pit by the dog forest - but no toilet facilities.

Hadsund Little Forest Dog Forest

Fenced dog forest of approx. 5 ha. located a little north of Hadsund. At the dog forest, there is a table/bench set, as well as the possibility of water for the dogs.

Arden Dog Forest (Rold Forest)

Large fenced dog forest with a varied terrain. Hundeskoven is with the wetland and is located approx. 1 km north of Arden city. Close to the dog forest you will find a forest playground, bonfire etc

The Jutland Skovhave is Denmark's oldest fenced dog forest. The dog forest is 14 ha. and in several places in the forest you will find table/bench sets, some of which are covered. In the middle of the dogwood there is a lake.

There is a toilet in front of the car park.

Lundby Krat Hundeskov

1,6 ha. fenced dog forest located north of Lundby Krat - east of Hadsund Landevej. There are table/bench sets in several places in the dog forest.

South of the dog forest, there is a fire pit, water tap and table/bench set opposite the Krathuset.

Poulstrup Lake Dog Forest

Fenced dog forest of 1,6 ha. located between Visse and Nøvling.

Øster Tørslev Dog Forest

10 ha. fenced dog forest where the dogs can frolic freely. Parking is at Undervisningsskoven (Bakkegårdsvej 10), from where you can walk (with the dog on a lead) up to the dog forest.

Sønderskov Dog Forest

Sønderskov Hunderskov is located by Lake Fussingø, which is a large forest area of ​​approx. 35 ha. The dog forest itself is located in a smaller fenced area, a little way down Fussingøvej, close to the parking lot.

Note that at the car park there are some large red gates and a fence leading into the forest - this is NOT the dog forest. You must continue a little up the hill to the next parking space (on the left) to reach the real dog forest.

A small grove with a slightly hilly terrain. The dog forest is fenced and is almost ½ ha. big. In the dog forest there is a water area, as well as a table/bench set.

4 ha. fenced dog forest, where there is also a special enclosure for puppies and smaller dogs. The dog forest is suitable for people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users and there are table/bench sets in the forest.
