De Blå Stier - kayak guide to Mariager Fjord

"The Blue Paths" is your guide to a memorable experience on Mariager Fjord, where you can find sailing instructions, suggestions for break points, shelter sites as well as information about sights, places to eat etc. nearby. 

"The blue paths" is a project started by Mariager Kayak Club and several local kayak clubs. Together, they have been granted funds to describe the blue trails - i.e. kayak trips on the fjord - for a larger target group. This has resulted in a folder that was not prepared in collaboration with the then VisitMariagerfjord, now Destination Himmerland. Here you can see routes, boarding points, break points, maps, accommodation, sights etc. along the route.

With "De Blå Stier" it is practical and easy for you to experience the area along Denmark's most beautiful fjord, Mariager fjord.

From deep in the fjord at Hobro to the mouth at Als Odde memorable experiences of freedom for both young and old await you, with good opportunities for breaks and stays along the way.

I the folder, you can find descriptions of places worth visiting: sights, historical places and shopping opportunities. At several of the indicated break points, there are also marked good ones hiking trails in the area, as well as the approximate distance between each space. 

It's just a matter of getting going. Whether it's a kayak, canoe or something completely different, it's up to you.
