You can also buy a lot of salt to take home. IN The salt shop, which is connected to the reception at the entrance, there is a large selection of different salts. Here you can buy the famous Mariager Sydesalt or go crazy with the delicious seasoning salts. It's hard to choose, because there are many different flavors - everything from chicken salt, pork roast salt and pasta salt to lemon salt, nettle salt and many more! 

In the Saltshop, there is also a fine selection of salt pans, salt lamps, gift baskets etc.

When you explore the Mariager Salt Center, you will experience an attraction with interesting facts and fun activities.

For example, take the simulator elevator down into the dark salt mine or visit the Sydemesteren in the Sydehytten and experience first-hand how the syde salt is made.  

At the Saltcentre you can also see the world's largest collection of salt pans in the exhibition, where many different salt pans are presented.

 

Swim in the Dead Sea and eat bread for… 

Get "Salt on the brain" in the warm salt bath, also called the "Dead Sea". The high salt content in the approx. The 39 degree warm salt water pool will give you an extra relaxing feeling during your holiday and get you ready for many more great experiences in the Mariagerfjord area.  

After the bath you can enjoy a delicious meal Cafe Salt. The café offers several delicious lunch dishes such as sandwiches, delicious salads and much more. Enjoy possibly Your lunch on the terrace outside, which is perfectly located right next to Denmark's most beautiful fjord.
