Hobro Art Collection

På tur gennem Hobro vil du opleve de mange skulpturer, lavet af danske billedhuggerkunstnere.

Since the 1970s, Hobro Art Collection has purposefully collected and installed sculpture in the urban space for the enjoyment of the city's citizens and visitors. With almost 60 sculptures, you can today experience art everywhere in Hobro. In the city's squares, along the harbor and around the beautiful Vesterfjord, you will find excellent works by the country's leading sculptors. 

In other words, Hobro is an outdoor art museum for some of the best sculptural art in this country.

The publicly available art is described in the small book "Art in Hobro - Guide to art in the public space", which can be purchased at the Hobro Library for DKK 20. In the Art Galleries at St. Torv exhibits sketches and processes for many of the sculptures. There is free access to The artists through Hobro Library.
