The artists

A trip up through the Art Gallery in Hobro is always an exciting experience. You will encounter art by some of Denmark's most recognized artists. And you can enjoy the architecture and atmosphere of the old brewery - not least on a day when the sun finds its way through the many small and large windows.

In the center of Hobro you will find the Art Gallery, which exhibits modern art, handicrafts and design. On the five floors you will find exhibitions by leading Danish and foreign artists.

The building was a beer brewery from the 1850s. In 2004, the Kunsteagerne was housed in the building, and today 3-6 exhibitions are shown annually.

Kunstategerne is home to the Hobro Art Collection. On the top floor of the Art Gallery, you can visit a permanent exhibition with works from the collection. The collection's works are also included in smaller exhibitions throughout the year. Hobro Art Collection is behind the placement of more than 50 sculptures in Hobro's urban space.
