Lille Vildmose Centre

In the middle of Lille Vildmose is the Lille Vildmosecentret - a living information center that provides insight into the natural and cultural values ​​of the bog. The Lille Vildmose center is the natural starting point for a visit to the bog and offers a range of family-friendly experiences.

You can, among other things:

• visit the new experience room about Nordic giants - moose and deer
• watch nature films in the cinema
• fly in the eagle simulator
• look at plants and animals in the nature workshop
• experience the exciting interactive exhibitions that are built around four themes:
  • Creation of the moss
  • The moss and the people
  • The plants and animals of the bog 
  • Experiences in the bog

Outside, there is also a wealth of cool experiences waiting. Among other things, you can 

• Go exploring for the Nordic giants in "Det Vilde" - if you dare..
• Take a trip in the peat train 
• Let the kids loose on the brand new playground 
• Visit some of the many observation towers 

The entrance ticket to Lille Vildmosecentret must be purchased at the centre's reception. The ticket gives access to the center's activities, nature playground, exhibition and wild boar feeding

If you need refreshment or a meal before heading out into the bog, the center also contains Café Soldug, which offers both cake, light dishes, smørrebrød and barbecue.  
  
Lille Vildmose lies north of Eastern Hurup, which lies north of Mariager Fjord all the way to the East Coast - Denmark's most child-friendly beach.  
  
In this area there are many holiday homes, but in Øster Hurup there is also a campsite: Kattegat Beach Camping.  
  
This area is a holiday gem with beautiful nature in the form of the Kattegat, Mariager Fjord, Rold Forest, Little Vildmose and much more.
