In Mariager, just a stone's throw from Torvet, is the Klosterkælderen - Antik & Porcelæn. The place functions both as a shop, a showroom for www.klosterkaelderen.dk and as a gallery with changing exhibitions.

The first part of the name "Klosterkælderen Antik og Porcelæn" originates from the 1500th-century cellar under the shop, which with its vault and "Saint Birgitta" is a small museum.

There is also no doubt about the business's specialty in mediating, buying and selling Danish porcelain etc. The porcelain is both in the form of dinner and coffee sets, figurines, vases and plates from the Copenhagen porcelain factories, as well as glass, retro stoneware, ceramics, earthenware from Aluminia and other beautiful things.

Klosterkælderen Antik & Porcelæn is first and foremost an online porcelain shop, where we serve customers from all over the world from the computer. But when possible, we would like to invite guests inside our showroom / store. Many come all year round to get a first-hand impression of the large range of Danish porcelain.
