RHANDERS, popularly called Randers Handsker®, was founded in 1811, and is considered to be one of the world's oldest glove factories. With headquarters, factory and shop in Randers, Randers Handsker is a true cultural gem to visit and find exquisite gloves and exclusive leather goods.

In 1811, Randers Handskefabrik was founded on a centuries-old tradition of glove making in Randers. In the 1700th century, the glove business employed a fifth of Randers' inhabitants, the French queen Marie-Antoinette slept with gloves from Randers, and a very special plant in the Gudenåen played a very large role in the gloves' popularity. RHANDERS has always had a special place with both royalty and connoisseurs right up until today, when RHANDERS is the Royal Court Supplier.

Unique shopping experience

Experience one of Denmark's most beautiful shops in Torvegade, Randers. The richly decorated ceilings and beautiful interior are a sight in themselves, and behind the shop there is a historical insight into the importance of gloves for Randers, RHANDERS' owners and exciting stories, and the very special story of the Kalmus flower, without which Randers with all probability had not become the most important glove-city in Europe.

Since its founding in 1811, RHANDERS has been known for leather gloves of the best quality, and as Denmark's oldest brand and the only glove factory in Northern Europe, they value their craft heritage and traditions very highly. A large part of the collection is hand-sewn according to traditional methods in Randers and they take pride in ensuring that the otherwise almost forgotten craft continues and thrives.
